  • Added a booking fee button to the members, booking page to allow 2 click adding of booking fees (i.e. surcharge for the use of a credit card)
  • Added two setup items to Book-It system details, correspondence page – deposit due days and balance due days. These fields will determine the number of days prior to the event start date for the default deposit due and balance due dates to be created
  • When setting up new events when an event is repeated in Book-It the system will now automatically adjust the Deposit Due and Balance Due dates
  • Added a new transport option called ‘Unknown’. The system will default to this rather than ‘Direct’ which it is hoped will encourage more members to ring around for transport sharing
  • Amended the event repeat button so that if the event being repeated is already ‘cancelled’ then the new event created will be given the status of ‘Booked’ so that it is more easily amended
  • All grids can now be split into two panels so that the member name, for example, does not scroll off the screen when you scroll through other member details. To split grids into two panels drag the black rectangle at the bottom left of the grid to the right and release it

  • Enhanced the events screen to show a clear indicator on all tabs to highlight TOMS events

This problem only seems to affect a small number of XP installations and it is not clear why some are affected and others not. Amended import from web enquiry process available in Professional and Enterprise editions only. Previously this only brought in notes information up to the first carriage return (ASCII value 13) followed by line feed (ASCII value 10). Obviously a user could enter a carriage return and line feed to break up paragraphs in their notes entry and this was leading to truncation of the notes fields. We now therefore look for the Japenese Yen symbol (ASCII value 165) followed by a carriage return and line feed. If the Yen symbol is not found then everything to the bottom of the email will also be copied into notes. Please advise your web administrator in case he needs to modify your web form if your notes are not being imported correctly as a result of applying this update

  • Added new web upload setup features in the System Details, Web page so that the system can now be linked into your favorite FTP software such as WS-FTP Pro etc
  • Removed the ability to change user name and password etc setup details in the System Details screen. The built in FTP software within Book-It 3.0 is being phased out shortly in favour of linking to external 3rd party FTP software which can provide much better FTP facilities than the previous built in features.
