Installation Instructions

• Ensure that all users have closed any open Book-It sessions
• Backup your files before installing this or any other upgrade in order that you can restore should you encounter any problems
• Click on the link above to download the file BKIT30UP.ZIP and save it to your Windows desktop
• Double click on the new file above on your desktop once the download is complete
• Extract the files contained in the zip file to the location of your Book-It 3.0 installation (normally 'c:\bookit3' but may be different for some users, particularly ones running on a network). IMPORTANT - if using WinZip to do this, please tick the option that says 'use folder names'.
• Start Book-It and check for the new version number on the splash screen which loads as the system is started (e.g. 3.0j1 etc)
