Follow the instructions below to download and install Book-It version 3.0 membership and event booking software. You might wish to print this page before continuing.

1. Click any of the 2 buttons below to download our software from one of our distributors. In the event that you experience a problem return to this page and try another site.

2. A new window will open showing a download area on the chosen site. Click on the appropriate download link (note for some of the sites you may be asked to select a 'mirror site'. Please choose a location close to you as this will help to speed up the download.)

3. Download the Zip file to a temporary area on your hard disk use the 'Save' option rather than 'Open' so that if you have to reinstall it again later you will not have to download it again. (We recommend that you save the file to your desktop with the default name bkit30.zip.)

4. Open the downloaded file by double clicking on it (if you followed the recommendation above then it will have been saved on your desktop as an icon called bkit30.zip). Double click on the SETUP.EXE file in the list of files that appear to start the installation process (note for older versions of WinZip you may need to unzip all files to another temporary folder first then double click SETUP.EXE from there rather than from directly within WinZip. (If you do not already have a copy of WinZip to unzip the software please visit www.winzip.com.)

5. The installation routine will create a program group called 'Book-It 3.0' off your Windows Start button. Click on that group then click on the option called Book-It to start the application.

5. To log into Book-It use the user name 'Admin' and password 'Admin'

Note - the same download file is used to evaluate all our different priced editions. Where features are only allowed in higher editions you will be able to see and use them in this evaluation edition, however, you will be warned which edition they apply to. If you see no warnings you can usually assume that features are available in all editions, however, check our editions page for confirmation or lookup 'editions' in the evaluation help file. Any prices stated on the distributor sites will be for the entry level edition only.

(Download could take 30 minutes or more using a 56Kb modem, less than 4 minutes on 512kb ADSL. Speed depends on location and how busy the service is.)
