Welcome to our latest edition of Book-It News where we aim to
keep you updated with news about Book-It product developments as well as
other complimenting products and services. I'd like to start out by
thanking all of our customers, new and old, for helping to make 2005
such a tremendous success for Instinctive Systems. |

It has been without doubt the most exciting, challenging and rewarding
year since we started out in 1991. Next year will mark the tenth
anniversary for our Book-It software and we feel very confident that
2006 will be even better than 2005. In this edition you will read about:
our plans to launch version 4.0 of Book-It; significant improvements to
our support services and more about our web software.
We also introduce you to our recently appointed Sales & Marketing
Manager - Mark Smith. Remember that if you would like to see anything specific in future editions of our

Book-It version 4.0 launch countdown
We are very pleased and proud to announce the imminent
arrival of the latest version of our Book-It software. Readers of
Book-It News will already be aware that we have have been developing
Book-It version 4.0 behind the scenes for the last 3 years and many of you have been
asking when you can get your hands on the exciting features of version
4.0. Well the wait is nearly over, the countdown has begun and launch is
scheduled for the end of January. |

Remote Access and Support

A number of our clients are starting to install
FREE VNC software to allow their IT support people to remotely take
control of their systems to diagnose faults, upgrade systems etc.
Once installed we too can support your systems remotely using this
software as well as the remote control software built into Windows
XP MSN Messenger. Click

New Telephone Details
New phone lines were introduced in October to help you
contact the right department quicker as well as to save you money on
your calls using LOCAL RATE 0845 numbers. We
are now in the process of phasing out the old 01663 741 894 number so

New Sales & Marketing Manager
Mark Smith has recently joined Instinctive Systems as
Sales and Marketing Manager. He is taking over the responsibility for
many of our commercial activities including new business development.
Mark has more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing of
innovative technologies in a variety of technology industries. Please
join us in welcoming Mark to the Instinctive team.

Other News
Web Site Changes |

Plans to improve and freshen our website were put on hold
during the 2005. This was to allow our development team sufficient time
to focus on version 4.0 research and development and bespoke key account
work. In 2006 you will see changes to our web site at
www.instinctive.co.uk,
first reported last year. We will be
introducing special 'customer only' sections to the website and within
these sections we will also be creating 'support agreement only'
sections. This is in order to create special 'value
added' sections to our website which are available only to customers and
hidden from members of the public. |
In the 'support
agreement' only area of the website we will be posting future maintenance
releases and extended FAQs etc in order to add value to our support agreements.
In order to access the areas you will need to use your Instinctive Systems
customer number along with a password which will be sent to you. The changes will be made possible through the
use of features that have recently been developed in our Book-It On-Line product
and are also available to customers who use that product for use on member only
sections of their own website.Testimonials
We receive a lot of 'verbal' praise for our products and services here at
Instinctive Systems. Whilst we very much appreciate feedback in this way, if you
could provide similar feedback in writing by letter or email this can be
very useful material that we can use in areas such as our testimonials page to tell other prospective customers what great products
and services you are already familiar with. If any of you have anything that you
think we could use please get in touch by email or post. We would be extremely
grateful. |
Christmas Holidays
... and finally - Please note that the Instinctive
Systems office will be closing at 5pm (GMT) on Thursday 22nd December
and reopen on Tuesday 3rd January. If you experience any MAJOR problems
in this period we will be monitoring both voice mail and e-mail on a
daily basis and will get back to you just as soon as possible. |

Would you like to promote your club, organisation or its services to our

Vitalise Holidays specialises in providing holidays for adults with a
visual impairment. Our holidays are available in the UK and worldwide,
from Manchester to Morocco and Cambridge to Cambodia and we cover all interests
from relaxing breaks in the Turkish sun to activity holidays in the Lake
District.
In order to enhance the holiday for our visually impaired guests, sighted
assistance is provided for each visually impaired person, and in return for the
sighted person's help, the cost of their holiday is subsidised. There are a
number of broad categories for each holiday that include: Sun; Interest;
Sightseeing; Activity; Adventure Travel. We firmly believe that
there is something for everyone; the young and the not so young.
Breaks take place throughout the UK, as well as overseas to places such
as Ger many,
Italy, and France and even further afield, for example to Turkey, Croatia and
Canada. Adventure trips to Zanzibar and Inner Mongolia have been organised and
added to the programme for the first time in 2006.
Each break is graded according to the level of mobility or expertise required of
the guests and this is clearly indicated in the brochure to help people with
their selection and a trained Vitalise leader stays with the group at all times.
Karl Gallimore, Vitalise Holidays Manager said, “Every year we receive many
comments from our visually impaired guests saying how much they have enjoyed
coming on a break with us, and how much the support of the sighted people on the
trip enhanced the whole experience. We are delighted to present our 2006
programme – especially our brand new adventure breaks to Zanzibar and Inner
Mongolia. We would encourage anyone who is interested in coming to book up as
soon as possible, as we are expecting places to fill up very quickly!”
